Terms of Use

ChatAlap ব্যবহার করলে আপনি এই নিয়মগুলো মেনে নিচ্ছেন। গালাগালি, হয়রানি, প্রতারণা, অবৈধ জিনিস কেনাবেচা বা স্প্যাম করা নিষেধ। কেউ এমন করলে চ্যাটের মেনু থেকে তাকে রিপোর্ট বা ব্লক করুন। নিয়ম ভাঙলে আমরা অ্যাকাউন্ট বন্ধ করে দিতে পারি।

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of ChatAlap ("the App", "we", "us"), the messaging app of the BD Sell Market platform. By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who can use the App

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must sign in with a phone number you own and keep your account details accurate.
• You are responsible for everything sent from your account. Do not share your OTP or let others use your account.
• You may not use the App if we have banned your account before, unless we allow it.

2. Content and behaviour that is not allowed

You must not send, share, or post anything through the App (messages, photos, video, voice, files, calls, profile name or photo, group names, polls, or deals) that:

• Abuse or hate — insults, threats, or attacks on a person or group based on religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, or similar traits
• Harassment — bullying, stalking, repeated unwanted contact, or sharing someone's private information or images without consent
• Fraud and scams — fake deals, taking payment without delivering, impersonating another person or BD Sell Market, phishing, or asking for OTPs or passwords
• Illegal items and services — drugs, weapons, explosives, stolen goods, counterfeit products, wildlife, human trafficking, gambling, or anything else illegal under the laws of Bangladesh
• Sexual content — pornography, sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities), or sexual messages sent to people who did not ask for them
• Violence — content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or dangerous acts
• Spam — bulk unsolicited messages, chain messages, misleading links, or malware
• Others' rights — content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or privacy

You must also not try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or get unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or other users' accounts.

3. Deals between users

ChatAlap lets buyers and sellers talk and record deals. We are not a party to any deal. Check the person, the item, and the payment before you pay or deliver. Report any user who cheats or tries to cheat you.

4. How to report or block

চ্যাটের উপরের ⋮ মেনু, কোনো মেসেজে লম্বা চাপ, ব্যক্তির প্রোফাইল বা গ্রুপের মেম্বার তালিকা থেকে "Report" বা "Block" চাপুন।

• Report — open the chat menu (⋮), long-press a message, or open the person's profile or a group's member list, then tap Report. Choose a reason and add details if you want. Reports are private; the reported person is not told who reported them.
• Block — from the same menus tap Block. The blocked person can no longer message or call you in a private chat. You can see and unblock people in Profile → Blocked users.
• Urgent problems — if someone is in danger, contact local police first. You can also call our support number below.

5. What we do about violations

Our team reviews reports. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may remove content, close a group, limit features, or suspend or permanently ban the account, with or without warning. We may share information with law enforcement when the law requires it or when someone's safety is at risk, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to store, process, and deliver it only as needed to run the App. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted, so do not send anything you would not want stored on our servers.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete chat account) or from this page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and secure but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by other users, including losses from deals made through the App.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, if a change is significant, tell you in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.

10. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
